The TWYFL Cheerleading Program was created to teach
girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade the sport of cheerleading.
Our program is designed as an introduction to cheer basics.
Girls will learn cheers and chants that are used at TWHS, along with proper movement and motion.
As the girls progress and are comfortable, they will also be shown basic builds and jumps.
Our program provides girls with values that last a life time.
Becoming a part of a cheerleading team teaches teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, desire, leadership, time management and builds confidence.
Our goal is for the girls to walk away having learned, grown and had fun!
As you register your daughter please consider coaching or pairing with another mom to coach. There is no experience needed.
Duties would include conducting practices and game day supervision/direction. During the four weeks of practice with the TWHS cheerleaders,
the girls will learn the majority of what they need to know. The main requirement is a desire to help the girls succeed and enjoy their season!
Please fill out a volunteer form if you are interested. All of our coaches are volunteers, if we have no coaches, we have no squads.
