General Rules:
- Acclimatization will be required per the USA Football Practice guidelines to begin the season.
- Practices will not be allowed in pads if the temperature exceeds 94F or the heat index exceeds 104F.
-Practice time will not exceed more than 30 minutes action as classified by USA Football Levels of Contact.
-Practices will have a minimum of at least two 5 minute water breaks per hour.
-The last team to finish practice will ensure all equipment is put away and the equipment storage area is locked.
Before the Start of school
-A maximum of 3 Practices per week (Monday -Saturday)
-Practices will not exceed 8pm.
-Practices may not exceed 2 hours in length.
After the start of School
-A maximum of 2 practices per week (3 practices for 6th grade)
-Practices will not exceed 8pm.
-Practices should be approximately 1.5 Hours in length
**Exceptions can be made for circumstances in which teams play multiple games in one week. Consult with TWYFL Board for approval.
Violation of Policy:
1st - One Game Suspension of Head Coach
2nd - Board hearing to remove Head Coach (If requested by Coach)
